Map My Drive App Debut

I've developed a new app called Map My Drive which is going through the Apple review channels right now. Once approved and available, it will be FREE.

Now available on the Apple App Store, still FREE and still AWESOME:

Don't know where you're going but want to know where you've been?

Map My Drive is a simple, easy to use GPS tracking application that will plot where you drive on a map.
Since all the data is stored on your device and is not sent across the internet, you can be sure that it is safe and secure. It is primarily designed to be used for tracking where a car drives, but could be used for other purposes as well.

You can create multiple Drives and have complete control over when you want to start and stop tracking for each Drive. Also for each Drive, you can see how far you travelled and how long it took you by checking out the Drive details. In addition, Map My Drive can continually track your location (with your consent, of course) in the background freeing you up to use your phone for other purposes.

While tracking your location, you can quickly and easily share where you currently are with any of your friends.

Map My Drive has been optimized for iOS 8 and designed to look great on any size screen. This includes the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus but also looks great on earlier generation iPhone's.

Since continued use of any GPS service running in the background can significantly decrease battery life, there are a few settings that you can change within the app to help fit your needs and reduce battery usage.

    1. Currently, there is no way to save a trip to a computer. However, I will consider it for a future update.

  2. Yeah, so I like it but can't figure out how to delete a drive. Also kind of wish the map of the route wasn't pins but a continuous line like on strava. Makes for a cleaner look on the map.

    1. To delete a drive, swipe left on the drive that you want to delete from the list of drives. The continuous line marking your route will be available in the next update. Thats for the suggestion.

  3. Another thing is when you start a new drive the app forces you to name it right away. Well usually I'm already starting to drive and it's not safe to type something in, I think a good idea is have a default name for the drive already there to easily skip that step, you can easily change / update the name later. Like on strava you just press record and off you go....

  4. Is there a way to share drives with other app users?
